About Southbank

Formerly an industrial area, Southbank Melbourne has now been rejuvenated and forms an integral part of the city's culture and entertainment.

Just as significant as Southgate, Crown Entertainment Complex makes up a crucial part of the Southbank precinct, and like Southgate houses several boutiques including designer stores Prada, Versace, Louis Vuitton and Burberry.

Also seen as a diners' paradise, Crown Entertainment Complex is home to over 40 restaurants including celebrity chef Neil Perry's Rockpool Bar & Grill.

The Crown Entertainment Complex features more than 30 bars and nightclubs making it a hotspot for clubbers, and only five minutes from the city centre means it's easily accessible.
